Daddy and mummy's wedding gift from Holland

Daddy and mummy was married in May 2003 .

They went to Europe for honeymoon. 1 of the country they visited was Holland. Mummy's colleague Paul Rolle brought them around for a day. Mummy's colleagues gave her a pair of clog as honeymoon gift. Actually hor the gift is for me. Mummy's colleagues said the clog is for mummy's junior. That's me. hahaha. See I can fit into the clog now. It's tough to walk with the clog.

A big thank you and many wet kisses to the aunties and uncles who gave me the clog

Colors

Mummy taught me colors since I was 18 month old. Initially I only know blue and red. I learned many many colors from the colorful windmill mummy bought for me and the colorful balls hang on Christmas tree during last Christmas (year 2005)

Now I can name red, yellow, blue, green, orange, white, black, pink (mummy's favorite), purple (another of mummy's favorite), silver. I am learning to identify champagne and brown

1st lesson @ MMI

Today is my 1st lesson @ Kovan MMI. All my classmates attended 2 lessons before me. Never mind, I believe I can catch up

The lesson started off with 1/2 hr of Chinese lesson. Zhang Lao Shi is from China. She taught us to sing and dance in Chinese song followed by showing us pictures and words on body parts and animals. Only 1 girl sat down to listen to Zhang Lao Shi. The rest of us either wondered around or played with the educational toys in the classroom. I was no exception. Mummy was annoyed because I was distracted by those who played with the toys. I wanna play with the toys too. Also I knew the body parts and animals already.

For English lesson, we started by singing and dancing. After that teacher showed us apple, banana and orange and taught us the color of these fruits. I knew all these long long time ago. Boring. So I kept quiet. Teacher thought I don't know them and asked mummy to teach me these at home. Teacher gave us picture of apple, banana and orange to color with crayon.

The last thing we learned was phonic. We learned q, r, j and v today. Oh no, I must have missed out some other alphabets taught 2 lessons ago.

The queen is waiting quietly qoo qoo qoo Qoo is the sound I hear
The rat is running reh reh reh Reh is the sound I hear
Jelly bean is jumping jer jer jer. Jer is the sound I hear
Vocano is violent vo vo vo Vo is the sound I hear

Teacher gave us a card with sand paper cut in the shape of the 4 alphabets to trace. At the end of it, teacher tested every tod by saying the sound of 1 of the 4 alphabets to each tod. We have to pick up the card with the alphabet that the teacher read. Teacher tested me Jer. I picked J. Bingo! See mummy you thought I wasn't listening.

Our lesson ended with free play

Overall the lesson was ok. Mummy was unhappy that the class size was big 9 tods to a teacher. She feels that BJG's lesson is more enriching and all rounded as compared to MMI. She is quite disappointed with MMI, behind her expectation.

Madien sing

Today is Good Friday public holiday but we went to daddy's office again. Poor daddy has been working on every week end after Chinese New Year

Mummy brought me to Tiong Bahru Plaza for window shopping.

I was very happy in this particular souvenir shop. I talked non stop in my baby language which is alient to mummy. When we were about to step out of the shop, mummy told me to look at what's hanging from the ceiling. It's starts. I started singing "twinkle twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are". Mummy was very surprised and happy to hear my madien choir.

I can also sing
Happy birthday to you
ABCDEFG

Though it's only a sentance of the songs, mummy is very happy

Cycling at East Coast Park

The weather today is beautiful but my mood was no good. I have been crying and screaming non stop since I woke up from afternoon nap. Daddy gave up and read his newspaper. Mummy put me on time out. I stopped for a while and cried again. Mummy very irritated over my cry. She kept asking what I want. Every time I cry she will say "what do you want? Say it out. Mummy taught you to say so many words. You cry nobody knows what you want, only you understand. Than you get frustrated" I feel like falling ill lah mummy so very pek chek Pek chek is the word but you never teach me that word leh

Daddy and mummy decided to bring me to East Coast Park to cycle to cheer me up.

Daddy rented a double bicycle. $8 for 1.5 hrs. I sat in the baby seat in front. Daddy sat behind me followed by mummy. It was breezy. I am sort of happy but not really very happy.

We passed by this pond for water surfing. Took the opportunity to stop by for a rest and snapped pictures. See my face not very happy right. No matter how daddy and mummy tried to cheer me, I won't smile.

After a short rest, we cycled all the way to Bedok jetty. There were people fishing and flying kites at Bedok jetty. A Malay caught a weird looking fish which stood on the ground with 2 front fins and tail rested behind like a tripod. Aiya should have taken a picture of the fish. A man on bike flew a very cute mini black kite. We cycled back to where we came from and returned the bicycle.

I really fall sick when we went back to kong kong puo puo's house. I loose my voice from the afternoon scream and cry. Got running nose as well. Medicine again. YUCKS!

Laze on my high chair

Daddy laze on sofa, I laze on high chair. My pose beautiful or not? hahaha

Esplanade

As usual daddy worked on Saturday. After he finished his work, he brought us to Esplanade.

I saw 2 big durian at Esplanade. Slurps I love to eat durian but these 2 durians don't look delicious. Too bad daddy didn't take picture of the 2 durians

We walked to Fullerton. Hey very beautiful night scenery of River by the Bay and Esplanade. There are 2 lions with a fish tail that spit out water. This is very our own Singapore renowned Merlion. See it? It's behind mummy and I
