Pray to God of Heaven

Today is the 8th day of Chinese New Year. Tomorrow 9th day of Chinese New Year is the birthday of God of Heaven (tian gong). Praying to God of Heaven will start tonight till 12am to celebrate his birthday

Zoo visit

Same as last year, we visited Singapore zoo during Chinese New Year. The difference is we didn't follow the programme for Chinese New Year and we only stayed for half a day, not full day this year

This fellow never fail to welcome me with open mouth. Wow so big man

He is mummy's favorite bear bear Polar bear. He is Inuka. Inuka is bigger in size than his mummy Sheba cause he is a male bear. He will be sent away when his mummy pass away due to change in direction of Singapore zoo. They wanna keep tropical animals only. Poor Inuka. Mummy very worried if he can adapt in a new country, new environment and if he can make friends with the other polar bears (Good news on Lian He Zao Pao dd 4th May - Inuka is staying for good! This is due to the same worries as mummy from err... something world anti-abuse animal organisation. They are afraid Inuka can't even survive during the journey to another country. And the long life spend of Sheba and happy living of Inuka proved that Polar Bear can live happily and long in this hot tropical country. Yeah yeah yeah! By the way, Inuka was borned in Singapore. He is a Singaporean like me hehehe......)

There are 8 types of bears in the world. Singapore zoo keeps the biggest bear - Polar bear and the smallest bear - Sunbear. Sunbear has the shape of a sun below it's neck. The other types of bear are moonbear (or Asian black bear), panda, brown bear, Amercia black bear. Can't remember the other 2 types. Is koalar bear 1 of them??

Ren ri

Today is the 7th day of Chinese New Year. It's human being's birthday ie everybody's birthday. Eating Yu Sheng is a way to celebrate everybody's birthday. Eating yu sheng is not a ritual from China. It's originated in Singapore. Yeah yeah yeah

Chinese New Year day 3

Aye... there is a new seat specially for me in kong kong's car. This is the first time I sit on booster seat. I feel very happy over the "promotion" as I sit like adults. Here we go.....

1st stop is kong kong's old time friend's condo in Marine Parade. There were many people and slurps food.... but I was very hungry before we reached here and took macaroni in the car. There is a toy room. The kor kor of this household has a roomful of toys. I kept saying don't wanna go home when the adults wanna make their move. This is the only household that has so many toys..

Next stop is kong kong's ex classmate's house. I was busy walking up and down the stairs in the house and slide on the rocking couch

The last stop was my as well as kong kong, puo puo's favorite place - Singapore Changi airport.

Leapfrog dvd

I like to play with the games in leapfrog phonic dvd instead of watching it. I very pa dao. I occupy the TV set and dvd player. Kong kong goes to studyroom to watch his TV programme. Hehehe....

Chinese New Year day 2

Morning went to puo puo's house. Mummy's da puo mu came after they went to da puo kong temple in Loyang.

We spent the whole afternoon visiting kong kong's relatives. It was raining cats and dogs when we left the house

I enjoyed turning the tray with new year goodies at gu puo's house in Tampines. There is music as I turned the tray.

There was a big luo han fish in gu puo's house last year but it is not there this year.

Next visited kong kong's ah soh in Bishan. I met a girl who is older than me but borned in the same month and year as me. She is taller than me by a head. Her mum said the girl enjoys jumping on bed. That's why she is so tall. Can I jump on bed mummy?

Dinner was at the hawker centre at another gu puo's house in Upper Boon Keng Road. I had kueh Tu Pak. Didn't really like it and didn't eat much.

I took my supper, suppose to be dinner at 9+pm. You bet, I napped and slept at the same time as last night. Hehehe....

Chinese New Year day 1

Kong Xi Fa Cai everyone.

This year's theme color is yellow

The first station is puo puo's house for mian xian breakfast. I attacked the preserved guava and mango at puo puo's house and can't stomach mian xian. Puo puo packed mian xian for me to bring to mah mah's house. Mummy requested puo puo to cook food for me to bring to mah mah's house because mah mah's cooking is very salty

I shouted kong xi fa cai upon reaching mah mah's house. Everyone was very happy. Gu jie said "I have no ang pow for you" She still give ang pow to me though. Again this troublemaker commented "Your pants is very long. Your mummy doesn't know how to buy clothes for you" Does she know what is style? Daddy told her mummy was not the one who bought the pants for me. Gu jie was speechless. O bi quak!

Suprisingly no one play mahjong this year. Hehehe.....

When we took our move, guo jie said "Feed him rice". I ate rice everyday OK! Can't I eat other things?! Buay tar han

There was many guests at puo puo's house. I helped to distribute drinks to the guests and ang pow to the kids. I feel sense of achievement that I could give the adults a pair of helping hands.

I knock off immediately in the car when we left puo puo's house. I slept from 6+pm to 9+pm and slept at 1+am. Slept at 1+am last night and tonight. Daddy and mummy peng sang. We missed fireworks at Ang pow river because of this.

Chinese New Year eve

We had a rush schedule today though daddy and mummy don't need to work today. Daddy won't drive his bao bei car after major cleaning. We took a bus to puo puo's house to pick up macaroni puo puo cooked for me, than took MRT and bus to mah mah's house for reunion lunch.

Upon reaching mah mah's house, mummy fed me macaroni. Gu Jie said immediately "yucks, not nice, don't eat this kinda food" without finding out what mummy gonna feed me. Isn't Gu Jie rude? Mummy REN ..... Da puo mu asked mummy what mummy fed me and said macaroni is very tasty food.

We took bus to Thiong Bahru Plaza to get the monkey sandas that I like after lunch at mah mah's house. Took bus, MRT than LRT home after that.

In the evening, we took bus to puo puo's house for reunion dinner. I fell asleep in the bus. Everyone tried to wake me up to no avail. I woke up when everyone started eating. Because of me luo yu sheng was done after steamboat.

I simply love tossing yu sheng besides tasting it. This is the time when I toss food and the adults follow suit

China Town

Chinese New Year is approaching. The most happening place is of course China Town. Daddy and mummy brought me there last year. Can't miss it this year right

Though we went there in the afternoon, it was still very crowded. The crowd poured in in the evening when we were leaving the place.

I was kooning when we arrived and woke up when we were about to leave. So daddy and mummy walked me round again. We bought many things there. Da feng shou => feng shou nian. hehehe......

This is a very interesting shop selling lots of wu shi - the lion in lion dance. Daddy garn garn took picture outside and inside the shop

Mummy and I were fasinated with the stuff in the shop.

Playground at Bishan

Mummy did not go for facial since she delivered me. Wow, 2 years plus closed to 3 years. Poor mummy. Since Chinese New Year is approaching, she made an appointment to have her facial done.

Mummy was worried I will be bored. I was having a great fun at the plaground and shopping with daddy for solid 2 hours. Mummy's beautician was amazed. She said daddy is very patient and good with kids

Read story book

I am learning to read from book. I can read story with short sentance and big print. I read the whole book of a book which contains 1 sentance per page. Daddy didn't record me reading that book. He recorded me reading this book which I read a sentance from a page

Feed fish at Botanic Garden

Today we went to Botanic Garden again. Last week daddy brought me to Botanic Garden while mummy visited Alicia in Gleneagles. We saw the 2 beautiful swans but didn't bring any food for them. This week we brought bread but the swans were in their hidding corner. Chey.... The fishes got to eat the bread. Hey wholemeal bread you know
