Sentosa

Musical Fountain bids farewell on 26 March 2007. Situated within the new Resorts World at Sentosa site, the musical fountain is closing to make way for the resort's upcoming development works. We went to Sentosa on 25 March to catch this nightly Magical Sentosa show


We queued for an hour to watch the show. Finally got in n chose a good seat because we were among the first fews

Meet the singing and dancing octopus and jellyfish and the beautiful Princess Pearl who will cast her spell on you with her siren song. Thanks to amazing special effects - a combination of state-of-the-art lasers and computer graphics, water jets and fiery flames

It was very crowded. Seems like there was a school excursion. There were many preschool children and suprisingly many foreigners

A long wait to get up the combined platform ladder CPL for short

Finally my turn yeah! Only the little kids are tied with safety belt on the waiste and hooked to the stand. The CPL can go up to 5 story high

Visit the location of childcare centre

I will be enrolled to full day childcare in mid July, which means my last lesson with kiddy abc is May. Sob sob sob........

Sat we visited First development childcare and child development centre. It is opposite puo puo's house. Not really very near but the nearest childcare to puo puo's house. Daddy likes the playground there and mummy likes the kitchen. The kitchen looks clean from outside.

Next we visited Small World childcare and child development centre aka Learning Vision. It is opposite Down Town East. This is the smallest among the 3 mummy short-listed. Daddy doesn't like the playground there. This is the 2nd nearest to puo puo's house

Sunday we visited Brights Kids Pasir Ris. Mummy likes the curriculum posted in their website. Mummy pin the highest hope in this one. It is confirmed non air-con cause there are ceiling fans. However this is the furthest. Need to take bus from puo puo's house

Lion dance

There was lion dance performance at our place at 1 pm. There were many residents crowding to see the lion dance.

I dare not touch the lion

The performers are clever. They peeled the tangerine and arranged them into the word "fa"(prosperous) in a red plate and the word "jin" (golden) plus a pig which signified golden pig year

Everyone was given a bag with a pair of tangerine and 2 packets of packet drinks
